newtothis
Just out of interest. Can you apply for a working holiday visa if you had one five years ago and only worked for six of the 12 months?? Can't apply for the second visa as haven't worked in harvest etc as required but wondered if they actually let people use the months they didn't use first time around
nicolac34
Nope, one time deal I'm afraid whether you use it for 2 days or 12 months.
newtothis
Thanks thought so. We're waiting on our 457 to be granted but conscious that they want us there to start work in three weeks so was looking for a way to get in sooner
Rupert
Thanks thought so. I always discourage people from doing this, that visa could just keep someone here legally if the job goes pear shaped, better to save it rather than waste it for three weeks work. Employers need to accept that if they are sponsoring there is a process and they have to wait.
