readstogo
:arghh:OK, slightly panicking! I'm going through the checklist and I see that I need to provide evidence of employment as sponsor for my husband.....um, I've not worked since 2005 as I gave up work to look after children (have 3 now!). Hubby goes off to work & I make sure the bills are paid on time and everyone is clothed, fed & clean LOL. I was all ready to state that I provide other kinds of support that are valuable in a long term relationship. Anyone else been in this situation? My parents have said they'll put it in writing that they will support us if need be, should I get this in with the visa application?
blossom
I think someone said not long ago that there is no longer any need to show you can support him. Hopefully someone will be along soon with much more upto date info. You are not the only person in this situation so don't panic.
