Vetassess submitted in November 2012

Hi All,

 

Sorry if i have created a duplicate thread with the same inquiry.

 

My agent had submitted the Vetassess applicaiton on 29th October 2012 and the Documents where uploaded on the 10th November 2012, Still awaiting response. The occupation is Call or Contact Centre Manager – 149211 state Canberra.

 

1. Need to know if some has filled for the same occupation and got any response till date?

 

2. Please advise, as my agent is asking us to wait for the verrification call that my employee referance may receive for verification by the DIAC and only then i may know if my application is getting processed - Id this true and there is no other way to find out the status?

 

3. Also need to know what is scope of a call center manager getting a job in Canberra - is it difficult to obtain one and what are the usual requirements.

 

Given IELTS on the 12th Jan 2013 result awaited by the 25th Jan2012.

Amitmal u may find it difficult to get ACT sponsorship as i was first refsused for call or contact centre manager due to lack of jobs.

 

To answers your questions:

 

I got approved as call or contact centre manager by vetassess. My signature gives my timlines and dates.

 

At this stage DIAC will only get involved if they review your case, they can randomly select a few cases to process. However if they dont and you get a positive Vetassess, then State Sponsorship I have been aware that DIAC have contacted your employers to confirm.

 

With regards to scope of jobs, i am unsure as not there yet but hoping to hear either way soon if my visa is granted. I will post on here how the job situation looks once out there. My advise for state sponsorship is start getting jobs on the boards now, they will decline. I was lucky as i could demonstrate i could get a job as my wife works for an ozzie company and would employ me.

Thanks for your comments, however as per the SOL list (http://www.canberrayourfuture.com.au/workspace/uploads/documents/act-occupation-list-2012-13.pdf) post July 2012 changes the occupation is "in demand" and "open". I have been looking at many sites for the information on jobs availability as we need to provide a evidance later that the jobs are available and have been reciving lots of links from www.mycreer.com.au and www.seek.com.au every week with adverts for Call Center Managers and Team Leaders. My agent have also not state anything about the same as of now. So hopping for the best.
