If it is regarding whether or not to move funds including savings and pensions then you may want to wait until you move over here to get proper advice as you don't want to move your pension fund (and then find you don't enjoy Australia and have to pay for it to be transfered back! It does happen. For advice on Foreign Exchange see Foreign Exchange Specialists | HiFX plc as they seem togive good advice on this forum. For Tax and Accounting Advice contact Alan Collett at Go Matilda - Your Gateway to Australia - Visa, Tax and Financial Planning for Australia who is a qualified UK and Australian Accountant who can steer you in the right direction. I am always available for general advice on Financial Planning but specific advice requires a full fact finding process and written reports under Aussie Laws.
