fluffyhead Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 We came to Tasmania in June this year on a 457 visa (me being the main applicant) and I have to say we love it. Problem is OH can't find work. He paid $1400 to convert his HGV license to a HC one but still can't find work. I am now considering trying to find another sponsor and moving to the mainland. MARYROSE02 Posted February 28, 2013 Share Posted February 28, 2013 Without knowing too much about it, I'd guess that as Tasmania is a relatively small island state, you would find many more jobs on the 'mainland'???
