I understand your have an activation time about a year, but is there then a time period in which you have to settle in Aus e.g. Within 5 years. Any advice knowledge would be helpful. lebourvellec Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 Visa would need to be validated by making first entry to Australia, 12 months from earliest date of Medicals or Police Checks, so depending on when the visa is granted you will have less than 12 months. Visa is valid for 5 years from date of grant. So have 5 years to make the move to Australia.
