javi1979
Hi all! ok I think we can all probably entitle me as the PIO nature phobe!! So the drama of the week is snakes near bush land! We really love Brookwater but I'm worried its so bushy. A lot of houses back onto the bush or they are surrounded by a lot of trees or golf bush. For those of you who know Brookwater how much of a concern are snakes? Will I need to be extra vigilant if my young kids are out playing in the garden? Have there been sightings in houses over there? calNgary
I dont have personal experience of Brookwater but for the past 6 years ive lived semi rural on acerage backing onto bushland and have seen oly a couple of snakes on our land. If you keep the outside of your house and your gardens tidy, grass short etc you should have no more worries than any resident of Australia. In fact there have been more snakes sighted in the built up side of the estate than on the acerage side. Cal x
