kaoticturtle
Hi everyone! We're busy looking over customs forms at the moment and trying to work out what we need to declare on form b534. Under section 7, do we need to declare leather items? Things like leather jackets, belts etc? Obviously they are made from animals but leather isn't specifically mentioned on the form. I'm leaning towards over declaring but did anyone else do so? I can ask the shipping company on Monday but we're trying to get as much done over the weekend as possible. Thanks! Lindor
Hello, it's a nightmare isn't it? I sent a couple of boxes on Thursday and had a panic over a jute bag! I emailed airandseacargo@daff.gov.au and got a reply before I went to bed! They were really helpful. I didn't mention the leather bags I sent so I hope they're ok! Hope this helps. JoandJon
I declared leather stuff - the movers looked at me weirdly but I figured that if I declared it I wouldn't get into trouble
Harpodom
If they are lederhosen, I'd declare TBAH
LizzyTinKnicks
We've just shipped all our stuff today and I didn't think to declare leather jackets and belts!! I'm sure it'll be fine but I'm worrying about it now
