Cerified Docs - 189

First up, apologies for repeating this topic. I know it was discussed on here a few days back but i cant find the thread.

 

I'm unsure on whether documents need to be certified or if uploaded colour copies are OK?

 

I'm applying for a 189 visa and will be submitting the following:

 

 

• Passport pages (x4)
  
• Birth certificates
  
• Marriage certificate
  
• Degree certificate
  
• Accounting certificate
  
• Payslips
  
• P60
  
• Work references
  
• IELTS results
  
• Skills assessment letter
  

 

 

 

Anyone advise if all the above be submitted without being certified?

That should read 'Certified'!!!! - I did pass my English test, honest!

Yep, you can upload colour scans of the original documents, without needing them certified - or cerified :wink:

Is there a need to send the hard copies to immigration or simply online scans will do?

The 189 is an online application - whichever you supply the colour scans or certified documents are all attached online.

Hi Tee,

 

I appreciate if you can provide me with advice in regard to the below

 

I have received an invitation from SkillSelect to apply on 189 Visa for "Internal Auditor Occupation". I have a Commerce bachelor degree from Egypt.

I already have positive skills assessment from vetassess for my nominated occupation, which states that my qualification is at the required level. (Note: In Vetassess assessment cover letter it is mentioned that the occupation requires a qualification which is assessed as comparable to the educational level of an Australian bachelor degree)

I want to submit the required documents to Claim 15 Points for Bachelor Degree.

Is it enough to submit the Vetassess letter, or I need to get additional assessment for my qualification, or get points test advice before I submit my documents?
