fergamy
Hey all, was just chatting to a friend she has applied for a RSMS 857, she applied before the 1st of July deadline through her migration agent. They have heard nothing back yet, so was wondering how long is it taking for a case officer to be assigned? and how long from applying might it take for it to get approved. Many Thanks. blossom
There is an rsms timeline thread. Lots of rubbish to skim through, but pretty much it is a lucky dip. For people who applied at the end of June they have said if their case wasn't decission ready it could be up to 9 months for a case officer. But some people who applied then already have them. And others who applied months before don't. There doesn't seem to be any logic to it, but your friend is definatly not alone. We applied in mid June decission ready.... Still waiting. The office that you applied at seems to make a difference too. Melbourne appears to be the slowest.
fergamy
Thanks blossom79, they have applied onshore and are on a bridging visa as well so sort of stuck in limbo land. not too sure which center they applied to, they used the same bloody useless agent as we used.
