We applied for an independant skilled visa on Aug 16th, and they tried to take payment in november but my credit card had expired, (stupid i know). I completed a proforma with a new card and returned within the seven days but i have heard nothing. What do you think. Is my application whizzing its way back to me or is it sitting at the bottom of the 'Daft Scots' pile, waiting to be receipted on a quiet day. Also, if/when we get a visa, do we have 5 years to enter the country or will DIAC request or tell me when we are going. appreciate any comments Chalky Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Ian&Lou Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 Hi Chalky From what i can make of it there is not a daft scott pile but a daft pom pile at last count 20'000 deep:chatterbox: you will need to enter the country before your meds or crim check are 12 months old ( which ever you got first ) so if you had your meds first say on the 01/10/07 and you got your visa on the 01/08/08 all the members on your visa would have to be in oz by the 30/09/08, you can then leave the country for up to 2 years .
