IELTS for EOI?

hey all!

 

going through the basic requirements of skillselect it says "have at least competent English" so does this mean that we need to have passed IELTS even for EOI meaning even before we are are asked lodge for a visa app?

 

I am kinda confused on this part. My country of citizenship is Pakistan.

For EOI you need at least 6 in all test phases.

 

And yes.. you need IELTS before EOI.

While you don’t need to submit documents supporting your claims when you submit your EOI, you must have a range of information prepared.

For example, for an independent skilled visa you must have:

 

 

• completed a skills assessment and/or a job ready program
• taken an English-language test to prove you meet the English language requirement.
