Freckleface
Hi indie - I don't live in QLD and I am much, much older than you but I did grow up in Australia. I don't know if you are going to be living near the beach but if you are you could learn to surf. It's a great way to make friends (especially ones of the opposite sex ) but it's also heaps of fun and as a bonus keeps you fit. Freckleface
Keep trying an eventually you will get it. When I learned I was one of the only girls who did it at the beaches I went to. I had to beg some of the boys to teach me and although they made fun of me to start with I stuck with it and ended up being able to surf a lot better than most of them. It's a bit like learning to ride a bike. It's a bit tricky to start with but then all of a sudden it just clicks and you are OK after that. Guest Deonne
I'm a little bit older than you as I'm 17 but I moved to Queensland September last year. Depending where you live depends on the stuff you can do, there are a few theme parks that you can get yearly passes to for three of them, there are always the beaches and everyone is so active here, they are always outdoing something. There are a lot of sights to see and lots of new things to try, if you ever want to talk or if you have any questions just message means I will do my best to help. Good luck with the move, I'm sure you will love it here. Deonne
