Polkey
As above?, I live on the Gold Coast and would like to grow my own veg but can't find any info on them, not sure if they they have them or if they have a different name. Can any one shed some light for me?
Petals
Most people grow their veg in their gardens. In the inner city of Melbourne they have community gardens for the people who live in the high rise flats, however they only get a very small plot of land. As we are not used to the allotment thing here I think people may be inclined to lift the veges as they pass by !
Ratchet
Ive not seen any. Might be worth calling our local city council and asking??
Petals
I think if the Councils have spare land these days they sell it Ratchet lol, won't even remove our rubbish unless we pay them hefty fees $70 now when we have used our free vouchers. Love Shoes
You can buy these little veggie bed things in Bunning´s ..... they are about $90 we don´t have one we tend to just plant in troughs and pot´s, we have herbs, and have today bought lettuce. My OH grows tomatoes in the garden, we have done well so far.
