voxtro Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 Received e-lodgement release mailer from skillselect today mentioning invitation would be released by 11Aug for skills and business innovation category. So, what does that mean? Is the second batch of visa getting released on 11Aug after the first release of 100? am not sure on the numbers this time. Candygirl Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 We got that message as well (I assume anyone who has lodged an EOI will have rec'd it). I took it to mean that anyone who has received an invitation to apply for a visa can do so from 11/08, but they were warning that there could be a delay as they are expecting a lot of people to apply at the same time. I suspect they are just warning people so that they can learn from the problems they had when SkillSelect was first launch last month and all us "Eager Beavers" caused the system to crash. If it were me and I had an invite I would leave it a few hours or days and then complete the necessary forms (easier said than done I know).
