JustJulia
Don't really know why I am getting so hung up over a small issue but wondering whether to take my rotary washing line (am planning to be more chilled out in OZ! ) Do rentals usually have these already? Guest GeorgeD
Two of our previous houses had them, one was on the wall, a fold out type. the other didn't have one, but it was an apartement and we were on the 5th floor! There was a rule thoguh that you weren't allowed to dry washing on your balcony, so the rental had a tumble drier in the laundry for drying clothes. Tumble driers are common in most apartment rentals, not sure about houses. Depending on where you are going, they can be invaluable...even in the heat the humidity can mean nothing dries! mumoffour
Ours has a rotary line outside but as it's winter we've invested in a tumble drier x
calNgary
Ive never seen a rental house without one, either a rotary or wall fastening one. Cal x
Somgirl
We have a wall fastening one, this is the only rental we have been in, but looking around they seem to be a standard. We had a tumble drier in the Uk, but put it into storage when we came over (we're here on a 2yr secondment) didn't think i'd need it .......wrong!
