Breezer
Hi All We have a long term rental in Bonner,ACT. The house is brand new and looks the biz but the heating is a nightmare (we are used to gas central heating coming from UK). The reverse cycle aircon regularly goes into defrost mode and once it starts back up it pumps out lots of cold air which has built up from when the system goes into defrost mode. We have had various feedback which is contradictory. Does anyone else have a problem with this type of heating? How often should it go into defrost mode? Cheers Breezer
Paul1Perth
That sounds like it's not working right at all. We have reverse cycle and just set the temperature and leave it. It stays on warm air if it's too cold, never known it blow cold air out. That's in Perth mind you so we don't get it anywhere near as cold as Canberra. Could be the heat exchanger part outside is freezing up or something. Just guessing though now.
