rackspace
There is a section in the FORM 47SP, which is used to launch spouse visa application, where it is written that you have to provide proof of residence if you are permanent resident of Australia. Can any one tell me what type of proofs DIAC is talking about. Like I can provide my bank statement, my ticket and boarding pass for intial and only entry I have made in Australia, Centerlink and Medicare card. What Else? DaveS
Birth certificate & Passport of both partners are part of the basics for your spouse visa application and are as far as I know all that is required as evidence of residency.
Happyviolet
The items you've suggested sound sensible. I guess if you have a letter from immigration or something in your passport stating when your PR was granted that may also be helpful.
samlee337
My OH has his permanent residence visa but he still lives in the uk with us. So on my application i just provided a copy of his passport and the page that has the visa attached and in his personal statement he added the date he validated his visa. Good luck with the process
