Guest Pinkdolly31
Hi Just wondered how long a healthy dog will stay in quarantine is it 30 days?? We plan to move to Perth next year Thanks
Rupert
Minimum is 30 days, but that is only if you get all the rabies jabs and tests done. It takes 6 months to complete so plan ahead, much better to do that than subject dog to 6 months in quarantine which is the alternative. BobPetairUK
Dear Pink dolly The minimum stay is 30 days as long as the rabies blood sample is done at least 150 days -12 months before the flight date. The other way of doing it is to land your dog a minimum of 60 days after the rabies blood sample and then your pet stays the extra 120 days in quarantine. Basically your dog is allowed into Australia at least 180 days after the rabies blood sample. There are more details at http://www.aqis.gov.au Bob
