My family (wife who is also a doctor + 2 children under two) are thinking of spending a year in Canberra to trial a permanent move. I'll be looking for a GP job. The doctorconnect website is very useful, will try and send you the link. The first place to start is the AMC specialist application which takes about 2/3 months to complete, then RACGP, APHRA, medicare then visa..... Good luck!
