bma
Hi Hondalee12, although you and your partner will have a baby together, you still have to prove you have a mutual commitment to a shared life to the exclusion of all others and that your relationship is genuine and continuing. This includes evidence of the financial and social aspects of the relationship, the nature of the household and commitment to each other. Have you checked the Partner Migration booklet? http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/books1.htm It explains in details about the necessary evidence. In short: joint bank account, joint assets, "anything joint" is good financial evidence. Also wills, superannuation mentioning each other as a beneficiary etc. All the best!
