Guest EM&M
We bought a cheapy portable dvd player for my 3 year old in the UK and it plays oz dvd's but our proper one wont. I think sometimes it can be pot luck otherwise you can buy a multi-region dvd player which plays anything. Em x
Guest John Sydney
Most DVD players sold in Australia are Region free as a lot of people buying DVD players use them for dvd's from all over the world. Just ask the salesman before buying thy normally say it already free or give you the instructions how to do it --- It easy enough to do. ---- Just get on the internet type in your player manufacture and model then "region free" and you will find a site with instructions to change the coding to make it region free - very easy about 5 minutes from start to finish
