vixxy666
Today I fly Newcastle-heathrow-hong kong -Brisbane-rockhampton I believe I'm allowed 2.5litres of spirits so was gonna get them in Newcastle thinking may be the cheapest but have to carry for ages any better options? I'm on my own so gonna be weighed down plus does it then go against hand luggage allowance when I change from ba to quants in hk?
MamaPesa
Be careful. Check at the airport. When I flew a few months ago, you were not allowed to enter Australia carrying any liquids over 100ml and that included all duty free. The only option was to buy it on arrival... Guest The Pom Queen
I think you need to check the rules, as we aren't allowed to carry duty free usually so end up buying it when we come back in to Oz just before you reach baggage reclaim

RockDr
You can buy it at the transit airport before getting on your last international leg. If you buy it before then, it'll be taken off you at security in the transit airport.
JoandJon
Yep what RockDr said - I know you can buy in Singapore if it's your last leg, can't remember about HK. I bought some at Melbourne before going through to the outside world
