calNgary
Hubby shipped all his, we had to split it all down into tool chests light enough for 2 removal guys to carry, that rule was stipulated by Crown the shippers. They all had to pretty mint and clean of grease and oil so most went through a hot engine wash, although lots of people on here clean them with Jeyes as it stinks so the shippers know you have been cleaning. We sent 18 large boxes of mixed tools and household gear/ kitchen wear along with a couple of tool chests and it cost around 800 GBP. JoandJon
Sorry, can't help with estimating weight of stuff, but.... If you're wanting to airfreight some/all then you'd probably be better off taking them out of the big box and shipping separately to minimise weight. Then ship the big box (and any tools you think you can be without for a month or so) in your container Cheers!
