james81
I am currently on a 457 visa and I am looking to migrate to Australia from the UK and be with my fiance who ive lived with for 2 + years and my 2 month old daughter. I am about 60% through doing a spousal visa application as my 457 ends in September. I was just writing up my statement tonight and was thinking is the spousal visa my only way to migrate here. I'm pretty sure it is my only way but before I pay the $3k in a few weeks time I just though id ask the question. I'd be kicking myself if I didnt! Thankyou in advance. lebourvellec
Unless your employer wishes to sponsor your for PR if you have been working for them for long enough? But a partner visa is likley to be your best option, and you should hopefully get PR straight away. GSM costs same for visa application but you have the extra costs of skills assessments and IELTS. If you are 60% through your application you should just finish it off, least you wont be tied to your employer any more.
