Ste5hk
Hi all need some advice. Our daughter who is 19 is curently working in a bank full time, she lives at home with us as the wages she earns is not enough to live on until she moves up a few grades. We are applying for a 176 SS visa and we would like to put our daughter on the visa but can we class her as a dependant as she still lives with us. Thanks for any advice!!!!! lebourvellec
If she is working full-time it is unlikely she will be classed as a depended regardless how much money she is earning. To be classed as a dependent she would need to be in full-time education and also have bank statements of moeny tranfering in to her account. There wads a thread not long ago that even although the child was in full-time education because they got loans and grants they were not classified as a dependent any more. Speak to a RMA on the best way to proceed - as without her on your application it will be very hard for her to get to Australia if she wants to move in the future. Guest Guest31881
You need to show she is dependent on you, As she is working in a bank on full time employment it would be difficult to prove. I would suggest you speak to a good agent to see if there is a strategy you could follow to get her added.

Ste5hk
Thanks very much for the info! It doesn't look good does it. I will have to tell her to work for a worldwide bank then she can relocate that way. If not she may have to train in something else.
