Is their anybody in the area or know of it, any info would be great, we are staying with friends for abit, till we settle in. Cant wait to get heir now. Kerry. Seaford is an up-and-coming suburb with one of the most beautiful beaches in Melbourne IMO. The areas next to the beach are best generally. Frankston would be your local big shopping centre. Best property probably on Nepean Highway opposite the beach but there is the traffic noise. Mostly Townhouses though. Sure your friends will be very helpful with the area. boomerang Posted April 14, 2012 Share Posted April 14, 2012 Hi Kerry we are in Seaford and although we read a bit of negative stuff prior to moving here we really like it. we are walking distance from the beach and the train station and shops etc. There are not loads of shops like some of the other areas but enough for what you need on a daily basis and shopping at the supermarker can be done at Wollies at seaford or Patterson lakes which is not far. Frankston is close too and good for the Bayside shopping Centre but I dont think much of the town itself, a bit rough. The Beach is lovely at Seaford and the area in general seems to be going through a bit of regeneration with lots of building and renovations going on.
