We are in Melbourne for 6 months on a 457, but were hoping once partner had the adequate 12/24 months worked up to sit the TRA that we would then ask his employer to PR employer Sponsor him. Now all changes in July and you have to give 2 years to employer on 457 before PR Employer sponsorship!!! ARghhh... :twitcy: So question is this,, without having to give a further 18 moths to employer, (not eligible to sit TRA at this time minus the full 12/24 months work) could RSMS be a serious possibility for us? We are hoping to go to WA anyway, and so I am looking at the criteria for RSMS and see no mention of TRA, just that the relevant assessing body has to OK the nominee (He has his AQF3 in solid plastering already). Could it really all be soo simple?? providing we can find a plastering/rendering company in WA willing to PR sponsor him under the RSMS?? Any advice appreciated folks, and thanks in advance.
