That’s great news. Congratulations. Yeah for babies it’s very quick. We had my daughters citizenship within a month. With all this covid lockdown going on in Australia right now. It’s very scary. We have a flight in less than 3 weeks. Hopefully things will ease down a bit. safe travels guys

It took almost 4months to get his visa approved and it’s for 6months. We were told not to book flights until visa approval because of covid applications are taking longer to process. Good luck

So my husband reapplied for the travel exemption and it’s been approved. Now much longer does it take to get his visitor visa subclass 600 approved? It’s almost 4 most since he applied. thnx in advance

I spoke to immigration office today. She told me I don’t need to submit the exemption to the visa application as it’s done automatically. Just submitted new exemption application. Hopefully we hear good news soon. Thank you all

“Confirmation of this advice has been recorded in Australia’s electronic visa system and if they hold a visa, the individuals listed may travel to Australia in accordance with usual visa and border requirements.” This was on exemption request approval for my husband. So we didnt attach the exemption to his visa. It’s electronically listed on the system.

Anyone been approved for an Australian visitor visa subclass 600 recently? My husband applied on March 20 and still haven’t heard anything from them.

We were told to get travel exemption first and then apply for the visa. We did receive email from dfat that his exemption approval is sent to visa department.

Does global processing time frame change means visa will be approved soon? We have been waiting for 3months now for my husband to get his visitor visa approved to Australia. His travel exemption approved 4months ago.

I applied in October 2020 and received the certificate in Early February 2021.

Oh yeah exemption is approved. His application status is still showing “Received”. It’s been almost 8weeks.
