  1. Don't get stressed , AAT member usually remit back your file to department with decision ready documents , department may ask if there is any document missing. just wait , provide what they have requested . if you are from India and don't have PCC ready , processing time is 1-2 months
  2. immigration department case officer will check our file again after AAT remitted back , its a normal procedure.
  3. if you have section 48 bar you can apply only for 491,190,494 visa not 186

  5. do we have option to choose the way of hearing like video or telephonic or is that AAT deciding it ?
  6. hi was it telephonic or in person hearing?
  7. no one here ever shared the questions that the member asked to them , I guess anything or everything related to our position can be asked , like our duties , other workers roles etc company related questions to employer.
  8. Few members in this forum waited long to hear from immigration , don't know why AAT website says the following the Department of Home Affairs is responsible for implementing our decision. If you are in Australia and not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, your immigration status may change following our decision. If you have any questions about your immigration status, you should contact the Department. If there is a delay in implementing our decision you can contact the person who represented the Minister at the hearing. They should be able to explain why there might be a delay. You can also contact the Commonwealth Ombudsman if you are unhappy with a delay.
  9. After AAT won , file will be sent back to immigration , immigration may ask few more documents like PCC, AFP , MEDICAL ETC , most of the cases PR will be granted with in 1-2 months after submitting all requested documents .

  11. congrats .... new English test for dependents ? or used old expired one ?
  12. virajhu replied to zijse's topic in Working and Skilled Visas Sukhwinder I will highly recommend calling AAT, in my case I called them and got the hearing date the next day, and the receiver admitted that they received all the documents but failed to click the button and that caused the delay in informing us regarding the hearing date.
  13. Not sure about time frame , can you contact AAT via your agent , some one in this group waited 2-3 months for AAT hearing date after submitted all documents later found out that a technical mistake from AAT office that caused delay for his hearing .. worth checking I guess

  17. The Department of Home Affairs recently published on their website this clarification on the validity of police clearance certificates. Penal clearance certificates – validity issues There has been some confusion in relation to the police certificate validity requirements. These requirements are as follows: For visa assessment purposes, all police certificates issued are considered valid for 12 months from the date of issue, irrespective of the period specified by the issuing country. If the applicant returns to the country that issued the police certificate during the certificate’s validity, it will generally not affect the validity. Where an overseas police certificate has expired and the applicant has returned to the country that issued the certificate for more than two months in total (as a cumulative period) since the certificate expired, a new certificate will need to be provided. Where a certificate has expired and the applicant has NOT returned to the country that issued the certificate, a new certificate is not required.

  22. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
  23. hi , can any one tell me what is the process of changing migration agent in AAT ? iam still with the same migration agent who lodged 187 and got refusal saying position not genuinely required . I have gone through the documents that they submitted to immigration and found out that they put very less effort in our documents ( they even mentioned our visa subclass as 457 visa subclass instead of 187 in many documents , they simply edited someone elses documents that explains the similar position and submitted to immigration.) they never ever asked any supporting documents during our processing time , refusal letter clearly says there is no enough evidence submitted to immigration to show the need of the employee . Iam worried that they may not give much effort to our AAT review , my employer is very supportive and I have completed 3 years in the position , business running very successfully, we need a good agent to prepare our documents and guide us. aim in Queensland and currently 25 months with aat.
