My Application got approved today yaay ! Only my husband's still pending

Congratulations! My son received his approval letter too aweek after the test. Me and my husband still received though and no surprise letters received. Update us pls when u get invited for the ceremony.

it really all depends on which state/city.. mine was postponed too in 29/4 , they re invited me again 23/9, Sydney CBD office

Oh ! I hope that! It scared me when I saw some people really waited very long time (like months) then they got a further assessment required or Approved. Hoping for the best

that is a bit annoying.. hopefully you can reschedule for a suitable date soon. We will all get our citizenship eventually ..it is just taking looooooooooooong time

For us My son got approved straight away after he passed the test, but both me and my husband are still not approved. I think it is very random ..

Below is my status ! well am hopeful though it needs a miracle to get the ceremony before December. I read somewhere they may extend the home builder grants beyond December and also extend the building constructions condition to resume within 6 months rather than 3 months. Citizenship application : 07/08/2019 Received invitation to do the test : 02/2020 Initial Test Date: 27/04/2020 (Cancelled due to covid) Second Test Invitation: 11/09/2020 Test Date: 27/09/2020- Passed (All of us Husband, myself and son) Application: My husband and I still RECEIVED , My Son got approved same day after he is done the test. Ceremony: TBA City: Sydney CBD

I agree, we got ours yesterday and we were 6 persons at a time for the interview (each with own officer of course)

We are on the same boat with you, did our test yesterday and just hoping a miracle happens and we become citizens before the home builder grant expires. We actualy asked for a virtual ceremony when we were asked if we want one, our application still not approved though yet.

Hi Guys Just a quick update , so we did our test (me , my husband and my elder son) in Sydney CBD office yesterday. Easy process, you just show your IDs and original documents attached to your application to the officer, then they ask you if you are interested in a virtual ceremony which we said yes of course (they said the councils are still having no ceremonies allowed). We all had different officers though . We did the test and we all passed, only my son got his application approved an hour after , me and my husband still showing received until now. No idea why still but I assume maybe because we went for a holiday overseas once (my son did not leave the country at all). Anyways will let you all how we go! hopefully our applications get approved with no further delays or requests . i know right! I just found out my son's passport (under 16) expired few days ago ..do not know what to do now

Hi everyone Anyone got their citizenship test and appointment postponed because of COVID and have received a new date? we applied for our citizenship in 08/19 , received an email on 02/20 to do the test on 28/04, unfortunately got cancelled on 07/04. Until now we have not received any updates. We are supposed to have our tests in Sydney CBD office, I know they started again the tests and the interviews 3 weeks ago. Any one in our position?
