  1. It would be really nice if someone who has recently had visa finalised to share payment options for second VAC. TIA
  2. Hello, Still waiting to be asked 2nd VAC. Like Garryy - if someone would share what payment options are available - Bpay, bank transfer or card payment? Is there a card processing fee being charged as extra - it would be huge if so? TIA
  3. Hello, Congratulations. May I ask when you received request for PCC, AOS and Medicals and when you provided all requested info? Our timelines are similar as below but still waiting on 2nd VAC request! Thanks Applied 143 on 28/11/2016 Acknowledged 30/11/2016 Request for AoS, Medicals, PCC 12/09/2022 Requests actioned/submitted 26/10/2022 Awaiting 2nd VAC request and visa grant - will update.
  4. Hello Everyone. Thanks for this thread and hope this info helps others. Applied 143 on 28/11/2016 Acknowledged 30/11/2016 Request for AoS, Medicals, PCC 12/09/2022 Requests actioned/submitted 26/10/2022 Awaiting 2nd VAC request and visa grant - will update. My experiences AoS was straightforward. A few of my documents were up and down so it got a bit delayed. If your application date is not far from mine and in the next 6 months, I would suggest doing research on application process and documents required. Lodged application through myGov, asked to physically go into centrelink to prove identity. Once ID checked, next day got an SMS saying "someone from centrelink will call in the next 10 minutes from private number, please answer" - this is good from Centrelink as I ignore many private number calls. Phone interview conducted, my fellow was helpful and said next few days you should received bank guarantee request. He also gave me a direct number for AoS team. CBA bank guarantee was abit tricky for me as rural branch staff never done one before, so also good idea to pop into local branch to make an enquiry. I had to make some enquiries along the way and I just rang the direct number provided - depends on who receives the phone - some say for enquiries you should call general line and others were super helpful in answering questions. Even though not required, I uploaded AoS acceptance letter. PCC - had to organise India, Kenya and Australia. Kenya was straightforward. Australia as applicants are not usually residents here, gathering documents was abit tricky, but ring the AFP number and they will go through the foreign documents that will be accepted. I did plan for this a long time ago by getting applicants to organise bank accounts with online access and debit card and that way a bank statement with address and debit card + foreign passport would suffice. India PCC is very hit and miss. We had to go through High commission in Nairobi so we kept enquiring and it came through but my understanding is the process is different each place. If you apply from outside India then the application is referred to your local police station in India and until they provide clearance PCC can't be issued. For all PCC (esp for India) - If your application date is not far from mine and in the next 6 months, I would suggest perhaps organising and applying for these documents now before being asked. My understanding is that they are valid for 12 months! There was a delay in organising the PCC so we had to ask for extension. I uploaded what I had by the due date and for the remainder of documents - I wrote a letter explaining situation and provided evidence of application and asked for another 28day extension. There was no reply granting extension! I uploaded remaining document within the next 28days. Form 929 new passports. When applicants got new passports, I did email this form to 929 email however it appears they did not reach WA Parent Centre - presumably as it is a paper application! Request documents that came through had old passport details. So I reattached these forms. 1 bizzare thing was no request for Biometrics even though on initial paper application was marked as residents of Kenya which is a biometric country! Has anyone got any experiences in being requested for biometrics? or are they not requesting them from anyone when it comes to 143 visa? Thanks
  5. Thanks, I tried it with something in subject line and something in content and used another email and it seemed to work. But for some reason not with my Yahoo email, which is listed as the contact email so abit strange. Thanks for the reply
  6. Johnson, how does one access this kind of information? I am sending blank email to parents@homeaffairs.gov.au but the auto-reply seem to have stopped!!
  7. Did you pay for AoS yet or only application submitted. If you did - its very unfair that they would take AoS money and leave you in limbo. By the looks of it they opened applications up until May 16 and even those many seem to have been put on hold. If it werent for covid then we were hoping by now we would have been very close to approval but anyway work with what we have got. On the flip side hopefully when they start considering the visa we won't be very far off....can't imagine the stress for those that have applied in the last year or 2 or wish to apply now.
  8. Sorry my apologies, it says as at Sept 2020, May 16 applications are being processed. So still stuck at may 16. We are Nov 16 as well, hopefully if your progresses please keep me and others informed
  9. Sorry my apologies, it says as at Sept 2020, May 16 applications are being processed. So still stuck at may 16
  10. Hi all, lodged Nov 2016. May someone kindly help as to when we may hear from case officer? Sending email to parents@homeaffairs.gov.au is not helpful as there is no auto reply. For many months it is stuck at sept 2016. It seems those lodged in May 2016 are the ones that got finalised and after those dates nothing. Thanks in advance.
  11. Hi All, I have sent email to parents@homeaffairs email in hopes to receive the auto-response to see processing dates. But no auto-reply - have they stopped sending these out? Applied on Nov 2016 - any one able to guide when they may send this application for further processing. Back at home police clearances take some time and I am trying to get started on those at the rightish time as they have 12 months validity. TIA to all you good souls helping each other out. ( Secretly though not in a rush given the circumstances and how difficult it is to travel atm plus costs and isolation etc) but it seems homeaffairs might start ramping up processing that VIC is getting under control
  12. Hi All, great forum. Applied 143 for parents on Nov 16. What is the email address to email to get an update on where they are with regards to processing of applications. TIA
