  1. UPDATE: I received another email soon after I replied to their email, asking for 2nd Vac. Please ignore below.

    Hi

I already have AoS filed and approved as on 17th December. However I received an email from the PVC team again today asking for assurance of support! Has this happened to anyone else? What does this mean? I am trying to get them on the phone and have already replied to the email. But any information from fellow members would be helpful!

    TIA!

Hi everyone! I am a newbie.
I have a question. I applied 143 for my parents in 2016 and have submitted the supporting documents in Nov 2019. Today I called Centrelink today and was informed that the bank guarantee letter will be sent to me in two days, which is a good news. We have been waiting for so long. But Centrelink told me that I must make a bank deposit in 14 days. However I am currently in overseas and won’t be able to go back to Australia till the mid of February. I asked Centrelink for the extension. They said no and suggested me to contact the commbank. I called the bank and they said that I MUST make the bank guarantee in person. I called Centrelink so many times and didn’t have chance to talk to anyone. The line is always busy. It is frustrating. Does anyone know what will happen if I couldn’t make the deposits on time? Thank you very much.

My understanding is that they will reject the AoS application. In my case, we uploaded the bank guarantee letter to the wrong section in Centrelink even though we did everything on time. As a consequence they initially rejected AoS with reason as: failure to complete bank guarantee by 14 days. I had to call them and point out that we uploaded it on time, after which they approved it.

That being said I don't know if there are exceptions to the process for situations like yours. I hope someone from this forum who is knowledgeable or with similar experience can pitch in...

Thanks, I received the Bank Guarantee Request letter on last Friday, three days after the phone interview concluded.

    @Michael S

Did you submit the bank guarantee document online or in person? I submitted it in the "upload documents" section but unsure if that will suffice. Planning to visit centerlink tomorrow. Also, have you heard back from centerlink?

Any idea how long this stage normally takes these days?

  6. Hello

Another question. My mother is currently in Australia on visitors visa. I believe that she is not supposed to be in the country during the 143 grant. However given the unpredictable timeline after submission of documents, I am not sure if she should leave the country right away after we submit the requested additional documents or should we wait to hear back from immigration? Or should we email our case officer and ask for advice?

Does anyone else have any experience like this? Any advice on how to handle this situation?

    TIA!

  7. Hi All

I am filling form 80 and feeling confused about question#17.

Do I need to provide address history for the last ten years for all the places I "stayed" at? E.g. visiting friends/family in Australia or other countries? I.e. Should I include addresses from trips that were long holidays?

    Or

Is it only referring to where I "Lived" in the last ten years? I.e. my permanent residence

    Thanks!

Hello, Can anyone please help me for following doubts -

    1.  Which is official Website to apply NSW Australia Police Clearance for CPV 143? I am in Aus on visitor visa SC 600.

    2.  We have to make AoS Application Online in MyGov? or  We have to send Printed Form SU594 to Centrelink?

    3. For Identity check, we have to upload documents Online in MyGov?  or Printed docs to submit to Centrelink?

    @Greece

    1. I used the online application link providedin the page below for police clearance

    https://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/services/criminal-records/national-police-checks

    2. I submitted AoS online via Centrelink. Nothing in person. All done online including submission of required docs in support of the aos application. If you have 2 assurers then each of them need to create their Centrelink aos application via their own Centrelink login and I believe that there's a question asking if this is a joint assurance of support. If yes, fill out the joint assurers detail in that section. So both your assurers must refer to each other, in their own application, as the joint person. Hope this makes sense.

AOS submitted on 20 AUG 19 and I was given an estimated completion date on 01 OCT 19.

Received SMS and finished phone interview on 12 NOV 19.
Before the phone interview call ended, the officer told me she will finalise the AOS and I will receive a letter in mygov inbox for paying the bond the next day.

However 2 days past, I have yet to receive the letter, call up Centrelink twice and I was told to keep waiting.....

    Frustrationssssss after frustrationssssssssss

That sounds really frustrating! Hope you hear back soon.

Just a small update, today I received a SMS at 3:35pm, " A Department of Human Services - Centrelink Service Officer will call you today from a private number. Please answer this call. Do not reply by SMS".

FYI, I have submitted the AOS application online on the 20th AUG 19.

    Hi

Congratulations! Do you remember what the original estimate for completion was, when you submitted your aos application?

I am trying to get an idea of how reliable their ETA is. Or maybe it varies from area to area? Does anyone have an idea about this..?

  11. Hi All,

I have a silly question about AoS. The "Visa Applicant Details" page of the Aos online application asks for the "Visa applicant file reference number". However I dont see a "file refernce number" in the letter from Immi. I see a file number but its too long to fit into the AoS field below. Any idea which ID I should use?

Below are the available IDs from Immi's letter:

I'm not clear - why can't you submit your 2019 tax return?

It is now over 4 months since the end of the 2018/19 tax year.

    Best regards.

We're traveling and hence may not be able to finish up on time. So, would you/anyone happen to know, in the worst case scenario that we are unable to submit returns on time, is previous year notice of assessment and recent payslips sufficient?

I think you need to lock in the tax year in which these dividends are properly included in your taxable income - see this web page.

If not yet paid to you are you sure they are properly to be included in your 2019 tax return?

If the tax return was to be e-lodged tomorrow you can reasonably expect the notice of assessment to be forthcoming electronically by the end of the week.   Unless there's a reason for the processing of your tax return to be delayed.

    Best regards.

This website, as recommended by @Kathss56 states the following. Does it mean that we can provide previous FY notice of assessment + 2 recent payslips, if we dont have one for 2018-19 yet? I am in the same situation and havent filed this year's yet and given the short timeframe for AoS lodgement I am afraid I wont have enough time to do it.

  14. Hi

I just joined the forum. Been following it for a while now. I applied 143 visa for my mother in Jan 2016 and just received the most awaited email yesterday :)

Now I am looking into AoS and other requirements as detailed in their email. Thought I'd let you know so that your hopes continue to be fueled by the progress they've made.

I am going to add details to my signature shortly.
