  1. Anyone got their ceremony invite recently at Knox City council for Nov 21 or December 19? Could you please share your approval dates?
  2. Anybody got their ceremony invite recently from KNOX CITY council? Could you please share your timeline and approval date?
  3. Hi mate, yes its 2019. I have seen a similar timeline somewhere but he got approved on the same day! That is crazy quick! https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9w0vkxm3?p=1018 Here is his timeline: A friend of mine's timeline: Melbourne, VIC applied May 19. got test invite for Aug 19. approved the same day as of test. country: HR *little correction, he got test invite for jan 2020. Was able to reschedule.
  4. Haha maybe because the NPC is still pending that is why it causing so much delay? I thought they have done it prior getting the test and interview date.
  5. @millski88 true, mine is about a week now so I have decided to call AFP hotline due to no email sent to me if they have started checking my case. They told me the average processing time of a standard National Police Check is approximately 25 working days if you have a hit not 15 days from the date in which the completed application is received by the AFP. Once the application completed and certificate posted to me ASAP.
  6. Hi @millski88 I am still waiting for my AFP NPC. It is been a week now since I lodged it online but I have not receive it yet. How long did you get yours?
  7. I am also pretty similar to your case. It looks like they have to do a cross check with OPC if you travelled much or requested for the OPC . Here is my timeline: Applied: May 2019 Request Additional doc (overseas police clearance): on the day I lodged my application. Submitted OPC: 15 July 2019 Test Email: 17 July 2019 Test Date : 16 Dec 2019 Rescheduled Test Date: 6 Aug 2019 Approval: Waiting.... I think if they require/request OPC, automatically, you are not part of the "streamlied process". Sigh...
  8. Yeah I agree! It is really relevant as that is what the CO is waiting for. She mentioned that we need a police check and normally it will only take a day - She said it is the national police check so we are on the same page. I will give it ago. What we are supplying is also legal document so I dont think it would hurt. I have paid for it and waiting to receive by post. We'll see how it goes.
  9. Perfect. I don't think it would hurt too as that document is legal as well. Thanks @Yeyebonel
  10. So it is safe to upload a Aus police clearance on your immiaccount even they don't ask it? I am thinking there is no harm doing this as you said it could work especially if no activity is happening with your case for a long time.
  11. We are on the same boat, I've checked with this tool and it says I was eligible. I also checked with e-Service Support Helpdesk and they confirmed by saying "Our records show that as long as you do not travel outside of Australia before XX/05/2019 you will become eligible to apply for Australian Citizenship on XX/05/2019". The immiaccount also will not let you start your application if you are not eligible. I am not sure what is causing the delay, as my CO says they will only need the police check that will normally take a day to get the result but been waiting for 6 days now since my interview and test date with "received" status.
  12. That is true as the calculator is just a guide but might not give you the accurate results. It is important that you have the accurate info of all of you travels. @Indianinoz you might want to check with DHA like what I did earlier this year: Here is the email address: e-service.support@border.gov.au All the best!
  13. Would suggest you to use the residence calculator: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/tools/residence-calculator to see if you are eligible on the date you are proposing to lodge your applications.
  14. In my case it took a month @Yeyebonel @ropar any reasons for the delay? Did your CO tell you something about it? Like they have to go and do a police check?
