Finallly Golden email arrived - not many afghans here but i will post for future reference. After 15 months of wait my wife was granted visa. I wish everyone the best. Please be patient and trust Allah,  as everyone of us will have a happy day.

Was there any contact from them After the interview? Like did they email you requesting documents or ?

what happens if you miss immigrations call? Anyone had similar situation? Will they email or call you back next day?

@Amjadt it is a known error for all. Try later or tomorrow

@Mohadisa one afghan applicant that i know, it took him 15 months. 

@Alina11 we completed everything ourselves, medical done last year but i guess expired now ( expires after 12 months). There was no such thing as police check. 

@Alina11 we lodged application before they made biometric mandatory, so we dont know if we have to do it or not - All those doesn't matter. What matters the most is the processing timeframe which is too lengthy for Afghans. hopefully we will hear something soon

@Alina11 i think applicants before July 2018 did not have the option to do Biometrics - so if we have to do it then we will just have to wait for Case officer to notify us. since your husband applied 5 months ago, did he do his biometrics?

@missomari yess afghan applicant here, what exact date did you apply? 

Do health assessment expires after 12 months? If yes, then should we wait for CO to email before getting another one done?

@aaminahtariq95 congratulations. Which country is your case from! Pakistan?

@Ifseh if your case is outside processing timeframe provided in immi then agent can definetly help you - plus think of postive stuff and it is that visa will be granted soon inshallah

@Nofil what generic email you recieved- can u share more?

@Ifseh - it is really hard and we all understand and feel you, hope you hear good news soon. It is best not too annoy them by keep asking about visa status. If its passed processing time speak to an agent and they can help you. Just remeber at the end Visa will be approved-  just be patient and accept what is meant to happen. 

@Mohadisa what is your DOL? and did you not recieve the generic email saying " your visa is progressing? " ( screenshot mrssam shared earlier)

i recieved same email on completion of my 12 months - it is an automated message,  its is good since you know you are in line and will be processed just like others 

hi amjadt,  i just recieved one generic email saying it is in progress and thats it .  I have submitted all documents ( including health examinations) all in one go last year

Hi All, it marks 12 months now that i have only recived a generic email stating " your visa is progressing" . I guess many of us come across this scenario before . With anyone who recieved this email months ago, can u update us please if u have recieved anything new?
