Turkey is in lockdown so think they are closed for 2 weeks. They have stated on there Facebook page that they are closed for 2 weeks and only providing emergency consular assistance. I have seen very little grants for afghan applicants. I don’t understand why they are not processing any visa for afghan applicant

My application was at Dubai office and recently transferred to ankara office. Am waiting over 24 months and have heard nothing from immigration . You said your friend received 309 after 29 months can you please confirm which processing office and is this an afghan applicant

Any grants or RFI from Dubai office recently? I haven’t seen many grants from them since last year

When did you apply? I also applied from Afghanistan, waiting 21 months with no contact from immigration

Yes you are right before corona people where getting visa around 16-18 months normally. However from what my agent said is that dubai office have not processed any new applications between March to September and where only processing application that already had been allocated case officer. My agent also said that Dubai office has just recently starting processing application properly. So hopefully we will see more grants from Dubai soon

Hi, I applied April 2019 from Dubai. Unfortunately Dubai office is very slow and apparently they had not been processing visas for a couple month (6-7 months) because of corona. I messaged Dubai office and they said your application has not been assigned to a case officer even after 20 months and unfortunately I know people who are waiting over 24 months with no case officer . Send me a personal message if you want me to add you too a Facebook messager group of another afghans waiting for 309/100. Also the message you got is just an automated email and doesn’t mean anything

Yes we front loaded our application with medicals and did biometrics within 2 months. But still we are waiting after 20 months . When did you lodge?

Did you apply from Dubai office? Unfortunately it will take a very long time be assigned a case officer as Dubai office is 6-7 months behind. I know of people who applied from Dubai (afghan applicant) who are waiting 24 months with no case officer assigned . It’s been almost 20 months for me with no case officer assigned. My husband also applied from Afghanistan in April 2019. It’s really good to hear you got RFI and interview, you give me hope. I thought they where not processing visa from Dubai as I haven’t seen many grants for a while. Inshallah you receive your visa soon.

Is your partner from Afghanistan? did you apply from Dubai. Unfortunately I feel as though Dubai office was stopped processing applications since April. I think their only processing emergency application and older applications likes those applications that applied before 2018.
