    @Marium generic email is basically recieved a few months after you have lodged your partner Visa... let's say 6 months later... in that the CO asks for updated versions of a few docs... so even if you have submitted all your documents before, there will still be a febe which will need to be submitted later. E.g updated bankstatements of past 3 months, electricity Bill's of last three months etc .

    I went for my medical on 3rd of August 2018 (I think)to aziz medical centre isb. they charged me 12500. But there I heard them telling 17500 rate to other applicants over the phone. So I inquired and they told me that from tomorrow onwards the rates will be revised.

    @tobeaussieIA it seems perfectly fine to me. Every area and country has it's own way of making PCC. Having said that, let me give you a disclaimer here, i am not 100 % sure about it... nonetheless most of us give our own personal opinions based on experiences here. So giving my two cents here Furthermore, aslong as you have gotten the correct PCC made with the right sequence of dates entered, I dont think you should inform the immi department about what you think might be lacking here. Does not matter right? Its something very petty. In so many forms even If you enter the exact date, only the months and years show up because perhaps they are more imp. Also, do correct me if I am wrong here, as I mentioned, I am mostly talking from my own experience.... To further add in, I have gotten PCC made for England, Saudi and Islamabad. Dont know much about how the trend may vary within Pakistan as I only have experience of getting isb PCC. Last but not the least, goodluck! hope to hear a good news on this forum very soon

    @Sadia however, I do suggest you ask your agent (which I am sure you'd already have) again if he has recieved any updates on your Visa progress. They deal with numerous visas at a time so I wont be surprised if they would inform you late about any correspondence from immigration dept. Goodluck!

    @Sadia as far as your concern of knowing why you still haven't recieved a generic email is concerned, I cant say much on it. In my case i had submitted each and everything. It's just that after 6-7 months( no hard n fast rule but generally) when the Case office is allotted , they need further updates on your case to proceed further as one can imagine that lots may change in a relationship during this span of time right? So they just ask for some updated records. Having said that, I have come to believe that theres no way one can predict the actual trend of Visa procedures. Some get their visas in a months time while some wait for months and years. Some dont even recieve a call for interviews. And some are interviewed with in 2 weeks of their DOL and not contacted for like 10 months after that and eventually granted Visa straightaway. So do not worry if you haven't recieved a generic email yet. In my opinion it doesnt signify the progress of your application. Each case is different and so dealt differently too.

    @Sadia they ask you in the generic email about submitting any doc that you had not previously submitted, last 3 months of email/call/chat history, last 3 months salary slips and bank statement of sponsor, any further updates in relationship (like I submitted some photos and tickets details of my husband's last trip to Pakistan)... and updated family composition form (form 54). They also inform you in that email that now your case is being actively looked into. So submit docs ASAP within probably a months duration. That's all

    I'm a July applicant. DOL 27th July Generic email 11th Feb All requested docs submitted 12th Feb Haven't heard from them since then.

    @MohadisaHello. I applied on 27th of July 2018. In your last message you mentioned about a friend of yours who applied in mid July and has recieved an interview call. Could you please tell me, if you know, by what date did she receive the interview call? I recieved my generic email on 11th of Feb and submitted the required updated docs on 12th. Waiting for your response. Your guidance will be helpful also, good luck for your procedure thanks

    Hi Saleem, If you want to save time, please upload your wives PCC right now... if you're worried that it might expire by the time case officer opens your case, you can always then easily ans quickly get a new one made. But u recommend you upload it now. I uploaded everything on the day I lodged my app. Dont know if that was the wisest thing to do but I guess it worked fine for me , atleast until now. For your question regarding providing link to wedding videos... well have you provided them with your wedding and post wedding pictures? I dont think there should be a harm in giving the video links however in my opinion it may not be necessary... however pictures are very very important. Goodluck with your wife's Visa. Regards

    Amjadt where you usually upload your docs on immiaccount, you will see a drop down tab of health or evidence of health. You can upload it there. You should upload it ASAP to avoid any delays in Visa.

    Arhu go for your medical now. Do not wait for the case officer to contact you first. It will only delay your Visa process. For spouse Visa you can get Medicare done right after application submission. I got mine done the very next working day. Goodluck

    Thank you I went for medical examination on July 30th, 2018. I have not been contacted for interview yet. Also, I have applied from Islamabad.
