I'm still on 'Further Assessment' after updating everything that was requested by immi, back in April 2019. I know there's people who are a lot frustrated and worse off than me, but I would rather them refuse me the visa, rather than have us hanging on. Nomination has been approved, everything all submitted with all Medicals done, at least with a refusal I can move on. The anxiety they cause by no communication or ability to communicate after they have received everything, is pretty shocking to say the least. i love a good moan

I must confess patience isn't my strong point, I called immi today to advise that I have updated all requested information, nomination already approved, and stuck on Further Assessment. The issue I have is this, the industry I am in means job openings happen between now and August in Europe, I have a couple of reasonable offers on the table, but prefer to stay with my employer here in Australia. If my visa gets refused, I will have to wait potentially until this time next year for an opening. They will not even discuss a case with you, and to top it off, I have to pay over $5000 as a deposit for next year for my child's schooling, In which I will not get back. I'm right on the limit of the global processing time, and feel like a lot of people on here that are in a much worse position than myself, that we are obviously just a number. No care for personal circumstance. Moan over

Update from me, our police checks from UK finally arrived, uploaded them to my immi account, that's everything they asked for. Nomination approved in April 2019 All requested documents uploaded as per request on form 56. One way or the other I'm guessing we will find out soon if the visa is granted, or I end up looking for another new football club overseas. Good luck to everyone, and will keep you posted on our outcome.

Hi All, Maybe some useful information to some members on here? I was contacted yesterday by immi asking about our home country (UK) police checks, in which we already had. unfortunately if you spend more than 8 weeks back in your home country, you have to reapply / update your home country police certificates. Anyone is a similar situation, I would suggest updating your overseas police checks. Hope this helps

You are in similar timeframe, situation and location as myself. Sounds like it's just a case of waiting for them to check we have updated what was requested.

Can anyone please advise how long they have been stuck on 'Further Assessment' status, upon submitting all requested documentation? My nomination has been approved, and just waiting for them to make a decision. any feedback would be useful.

I provided my requested information 3 weeks ago (AFP checks and overseas police checks), and my status is still on Further Assessment. nomination approved March 2019, Medicals already done and cleared. we are onshore, transitioned from 457 - 187 Qld, Occupation Sports Instructor Previous Country UK

Okay Guys, My AFP certificates came through today, I uploaded them into my immi account as per their instructions. My immi account status has gone from Initial Assessment to Further Assessment. I guess it's in the hands of the case officer now?

I didn't study in Australia, I completed over 3 years with my current employers, then applied for 187. i did all my qualifications in UK, but have assisted with the education of coaches in Australia, as a coach instructor. I'm just waiting for our AFP Certificates to come through, then upload them, we have submitted everything else and our Medicals have been done and shown as completed.

I thought I would share this for any prospective people moving to the Sunshine Coast, and looking for a private school that is super competitive, whilst also ticking all the boxes for quality educational provision. The school in question is Peregian Beach College, Old Emu Moutain Road, Peregian Beach. Principal is amazingly freindly, and they do a try before you buy day. Your child attends for a day to see if it suits them?

Thanks Mark23, we just have to wait for our AFP carts to come through and then upload, we already had police commissioners immi police checks done in UK and already uploaded them, in addition to this, me and my partner have enhanced DBS disclosures from the UK in which we also attached. Hoping to get this over the line, and wishing everyone else the same.

I applied for 187 in May 2018 (application submitted) All Medicals done in June 2018 (requested by Immi) Nomination Approved in April 2019 Request for AFP certificates last week.
