Waiting for so long does not make any sense.We lodged visa application in feb 2016 still waiting a decision after aos approval,corona virus came and now suddenly no one knows when they will process applications again,someone should ask them,it is not fair to me and it is not fair to everyone who have lodged visa 143 with significant high costs,they dont even answer ,they should atleast  grant visas and let the people wait offshore until borders open or get them tested for covid and bring them over who are at final stages of processing and have already submitted all the required documents.It just doesnt make any sense,australian immigration is not transparent like canada

Cant find any que numbers for visa 143 dont know if it even exists

@Kathss56 it is really bizzare and one more thing if you send an empty email to parentsvisa@homeaffairs.com.au ,it is written in the mail ,they are processing files march 2016 for visa 143 while 2 days ago they were saying february 2016 nothing is being predictable these days in the world i would just leave it on god now ,i do not know what is happening  because on the top of email it is clearly written that parent visas are on hold upto may end but this little thing changed february to march

Historically the CPVs onshore were processed quicker, and whilst the department has now made clear that will be rectified, I am unsure if that was a law change or realising that they were non compliant that led to the change.

Test email from Friday has revealed finalisation of many parent visas is on temporary hold, and that they are still seeking to nromalise timing between the 864 and 143. 

That said, I'm sure if they opened the gates on the existing 864 applications (note international travel ban means the list is likely static), then there would likely be a cash income to the government.  We live in strage times and I wouldn't be surprised if that was a tap that was turned, especially given what will be a collapse in the education sector this year.

GUYS i found this on facebook someone got there visa 143 granted today,Is this a good sign?Maybe it means they are starting to grant parent visas again

I got the same request to include all names on pcc which my mother is known by just before the lock down happened,Can anyone tell me how to do it as in my country pcc is done by the Passport name and all other names are not included on PccI got this mail from pvc

Hi, Confused as to what finalisation of visa applications mean.I hope someone knows it maybe .Is that means granting the visa or requesting for 2nd vaq payment as well. a lot of people here including me had their aos accepted who lodged their file in feb 2016 ,we were all waiting for the second vaq request and there came the lockdown lol,i dont think they will even grant 2 vaq requests now, i request people to post it here if anyone does get an email requesting 2nd vaq during this time.

Hi,i am in a unique situation here.Just received an email from Immigration to send pcc for my mother stating all the 3 names she is known by.Her official name is Manjit Kaur Pabla which is on her passport and that is what central Indian government use for issuing Pcc.However, immigration asked to list all these names on Pcc but Indian government Does not issue pcc with multiple names.Has anyone been through situation?Will appreciate if anyone can figure out  what to do

Hi,has anyone else received 2nd vaq payment request except (alwaysvet) as it has been one month since our aos was accepted and nothing from immigration since then.Fingers crossed the wait is killing now

Hi Lubz,i guess it will be better if you can ask your dad to provide pcc because if they are not separated he lb considered a non migrating member so they need to see everything is perfect.
