  1. That was an old post. I dont know how it came up again. My mistake
  2. Good news. I got my PR today. Timeline: June 2017: Nomination and visa lodged. Nov 2018: Nomination approved. Feb 26 2019: Request for AFP and Medicals. March 13 2019: second request for more info: polio card for children. April 4th: PR granted. Occupation: Childcare group Leader, ACT Onshore, DE. God is great. Stay calm and trust God as far as your Application is genuine. All the best everyone.
  3. Hi All, Got email from immi today requesting more docs for visa: - medicals for me and my spouse and children. - Data page of new paspport for my children (their old passport expire in about 2 months) -oversea police clearance for my mother (included as non migrating dependant) Timeline: June 2017: Nomination and visa submitted. Nov 2018: Nomination approved Since then no news until today. Fingers crossed. Child Care group Leader ACT.

  5. Good idea. I updated my AFP and payslips through my MA even though immi did not request for it. My MA said we cant do a new Medical until CO asks for it. Nomination was approved on 1st November 2018. Nom and Visa submitted in June 2017. Childcare Group Leader, ACT. Still no correspondence from immi regarding Visa. I don't know what they are up to.
  6. Only matters that went to court are recorded for AFP clearance. I think you are good.
  7. Were you charged to Court? If yes it would show on your AFP. If not it wouldn't. Even if it shows, you may still be good if it was just a one off thing and you have rectified it.
  8. It appears they are slowing down on grants now but still approving Nominations. This is just the begining of the 2nd half of the financial year. Its too early for that.
  9. That is the truth. Nobody knows how they work. Its hard to predict how things would go based on the experience of others. Every case is different. We just have to encourage ourselves to stay calm and hope and pray for the best. I wish you all success.
  10. I am in the same shoes. My Nomination was approved more than 3 nonths ago. No request for more documents and no news regarding visa file till date. Occupation: Childcare Group Leader State ACT Visa and nom : June 2017. Can you please share your timeline, occupation and State. Are you on bridging Visa? If yes is it A or C? Was there request for more docs for visa?
  11. How come no initial assessment or further assessment ? Your visa file status would remain received after Nomination approval until a CO opens your file. If he asks for more docs it goes to initial assessment. If not the visa status becomes finalized when the visa is granted(that is of all docs have been submitted and up to date). Further assessment is when you have submitted any requested document.
  12. Congratulations. 99% of the stress is over. Its now only a matter of time.
  13. It would be extremely difficult for her to get any temporary visa including student visa. The best option is for you to wait till your RSMS is approved. As you have added your wife to your application, she would not be able to meet the genuine temporary entrant (GTE) requirement which goes with any temporary visa like visitor or Student Visa. That means you would not be able to convince the CO that she would return when her Visa expires. Please dont spend more time or resources on any temporary visa including student Visa.
