  1. Well guys today was the day I received my email to leave Australia so that they can process my grant. I almost don't believe it but am so utterly relieved. 50 weeks of one of the most stressful times of my life. I think I need to let it sink in as I think I'm a little shell shocked lol
I was down to the wire, heading back to the UK on holiday on the 14th then back to kick start my new life properly this time.
Thank you so much for all the help and advice from everyone it really helped out in the dark times.
Huge congrats@mppc must have been such a great start to the day. Have been keeping one eye still on this forum since I got over here.

  2. Provide loads of photos. Use an app like instacollage to submit loads in 1 go. I also took loads of screenshots of our Facebook photos which were also time stamped.

To put in to context me and wife didnt have joint finances, or rental agreement at all, but explained it in our personal statements.

    Hi guys!
RFI this morning for my husbands application!

309/100 applied feb 2019 (From London)
Police Check / Medical Dec 2019 (we already started the process to arrange prior to RFI and have medical booked for next week!)
The RFI wants more information about us being defacto from feb 2016 - feb 2019 and our relationship being genuine.

Technically we only started living together from September 2019 while I was still tied to a rental agreement. This is something our Agent knew and didn’t see as a problem, from feb - sept 2016 my partner and I would spend half and half between my place and his and I have asked my old live in land lady to write a statement proving this including a period of 12 weeks when she was away and he stayed at my location the entire duration.

Anybody have any other suggestions for info we could provide?

    Feeling frustrated!
  3. I walked passed there today on the way to work and said a little thank you.

I was at the Australian house yesterday doing my daughters passport and couldnt help but look around and think who was the officer that gave me my grant ha!!

  4. Heading there as well, planning in full swing. If you need any advice for arriving let me know.

Thanks everyone! Really hope [mention=275173]GRS[/mention] hears something soon. I had just e-mailed our agent with more docs 2 days ago so could have saved myself an hour of scanning [emoji23]
We’re planning on heading to Brisbane. I don’t think we’ll get down until May/June time as so much to organise before we go.
  5. Huge congrats. Let's see another flurry come through like the last few weeks.

I can’t quite believe it but i’ve received my golden e-mail. [emoji846][emoji322][emoji3060] I was up at 3am feeding  my baby when the e-mail came through from our agent.
Both 309 and 100 granted at same time. Entry needs to be made before 20th November 2020.

We applied 3rd December 2018 through agent. Medical and Police checks done in March 2019. We had absolutely no contact or RFI’s except from the grant. We have been together for 8 years (married for 2) with 3 kids who are all Aussie citizens.

Hope the last of the 2018 applicants have all received their grants now.

  6. Huge congrats. Glad to see the flow continuing this week

Raining gold this morning, email received requesting us to depart Australia so that the 309/100 can be granted. Have to be at least out for 5 working days apparently so just busy trying to book as we have to leave no later than 04th December. I think they must be clearing up 2018 now as well so hopefully a few more grants today and next week!

    Congrats on all the grants!

A quick question. We have lodged through an agent and front loaded everything other than our sponser form, as did this on paper with the agent.  Would people recommend getting that uploaded digitally also?

    Thanks

yes, definitely would recommend that. I have seen others get this requested when they have just uploaded a scanned version. The 40SP form needs to be completed online, but your agent may have transferred all the information fro your hard copy to the one online, might be worth checking.

    Hi all!
just checking in.. we applied and received our 600 visa and are off to Sydney on the 15th December.
Good to see that a few more of us have received grants! Hope they can get a few more in before the Christmas holiday period!

(Applied 3/03/2019) no news as yet

good stuff. How long did it take for the visa to come through? and did you have to submit a load of evidence with it?

trying to decide if we should apply for a 60 visa or if a 3 month ETA would be sufficient.

  9. You always come in to my mind for every grant that comes through. Hope you get something soon that is positive.

Congrats to all who have had there grants over the past few weeks.
hopefully be some movement on my appeal. Coming up to 18months in January
keep checking the appeal times and now gone up to 20 months so hopefully hear something soon as partner due baby in April so hopefully we can move by Oct next year as house is getting too small here with 2 children and don’t want to move again.
wish things were a lot simpler but lucky for you guys none of you have had to appeal an error on the embassy’s fault and not of our own.
  10. Hi All.

Does anyone know how long you have to exchange your licence in Australia if you arrive on a 309 visa?

Some advice is saying you dont since PR has not yet been granted, yet some understanding is if you are in Australia over 3 months then it needs tobe done.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated

Just got our 309 and 100 grant!!!!

January applicant, 7 years relationship, married and Australian kid.

Do not regret applying to 600 just two weeks ago as we needed a visa to finally book our tickets. But now everything will be smoother. We get to Gold Coast last week of Jan.

@Butterflies1988 No idea why they are asking more RFI of the same stuff to people but at least theres movement. Saw somewhere someone had an RFI and then a grant after uploading what was needed. Hopefully they are granting heaps of visas this month!

Good luck to all. I know the waiting sucks!!!

this is great news HUGE CONGRATS!!!!

  12. Yep. We always do the obligatory airport post saying see ya suckers. Facebook has been a godsend in this process with the date stamps

The ONLY way I could track it was to go though my Facebook timeline (ashamed) and look at the date I was bragging about leaving the Uk.... and then moaning about being back in the UK. The last few years were easy with emails [emoji23]
  13. you are almost there though. That's when it feels the worst. Once you press submit then wipe your hands of it and enjoy your trip to NZ

I have to state country and duration of stay. I sat last night until 3am going through my records again to make sure everything was correct. I had already provided the information when I first started working on my visa application.
I also have to provide a doctor's letter for my father in-law which is not a problem but I don't know why they want this as they should have enough information about myself but sure it's another hoop to jump.
I'm just so exhausted with the whole process and getting really down about it.
    • Thanks 1
  14. I remember this one. We trawled through all of our online boarding passes, plus my wife works in international development so that was painful going all the stamps and having to translate them to see what countries they were for. It was yet another spreadsheet we made to log it all down.

On the 309/100 one of the questions on the main form was asking what countries I had visited in the past ten years. I had to fill in the dates to and from and why I was visiting. It was a nightmare but I managed to complete it.
