    Hi
I have lodged my 309 and subsequent 600 visa applications through an MA. He has sent me acknowledgments received from the Department. I have my own IMMI Account and have imported my Subclass 300 application in my account but failed to import the first one i.e. 309. My question is whether I can import this application without the permission of my MA? Thanks

you can't import 309 at all

    Hi friends,

I am planning to submit 309 application for my wife. I am currently doing Ubereats Only. Is it ok to submit Ubereats pay slips for 309 visa application????

Pay slips are not required but you can send them if they ask. Visa will be granted on basis of genuinship of relationship. So it doesn't matter what your financial situation is except if they doubt that you are sponsoring partner for money.

    Asalam u alekum,

    DOL : Nov 2018

No email has been received so far almost 10 months now.

During this period my Mrs has visited Australia once on a visit visa and spent almost 3 months here.

IMPORTANT Question My Mrs is currently 18 weeks Preg, How should I notify AHC as I have not received any CO name or email.

Should I notify them ? We both are planning to have baby in Aus so if visa isn't granted by 15th of Dec she won't be allowed to travel !

Any way of notiying embassy and would they make the process little faster ?

    Please advise Thank you 🙂

In my opinion,  they wouldn't consider it to make process faster.  However there's good chances that your visa can be granted by mid December . As your case is in better position as they've granted visitor visa earlier.

    Suggestions:

You may want to apply another visit visa and travel in mid December. If your partner visa doesn't grant by then .

    Hi everyone,

This post is for one of my friend, need your advise on Visa application subclass 300.

This week my friend has lodged an application 309 (Partner visa) but unfortunately One of the question was wrongly answered and visa subclass changed to 300.

on the same day he uploaded the withdraw and refund form  in application in the same immi account.

Could you please give some  guidance on what to do in this situation, how quick he can get refund or any other way possible.

also provide any point of contact from immigration department that can be reached.

He has to lodge another application urgently but   it will be a huge loss if both applications refused or refund not received.

    Thanks for your help.

    •

Once application has been withdrawn,  it can be rejected.  But may affect next application,  it depends on reason for withdrawing and information immigration have in hand .

In given scenario it is less likely to be affected 2nd application.

(My thought). Also make sure and remember,  application is to be filled by applicant not sponsor. And if sponsor helped with application then it must be mentioned as "yes " at the end of application in question "did you receive any assistance in filling this application "

    (My suggestion)

Applicant should accept mistake done and first attempt.  And provide reason for that on plain letter. Explain it in writing. Print it sign it. And upload in other documents.

I understand your friend got scared and messed up whole thing. Otherwise best option was to get fixed first application,  if not himself by calling and taking help from global contact number; then easier option was a migration agent to fix it.

Regarding refund, it is under limited circumstances.  To me this sounds like one that should be refunded.  But i don't know exactly weather funds will be refunded or not. I pray they understand your situation and refund your friend's money.  It will take over month even if they decide to refund it.

There is no such thing as a "partner dependent visa". It is EXTREMELY unusual to be granted a Partner Visa with a parent as a dependent. You will have to prove that the parent is totally dependent on you and that adds extra time while Immigration check it out. Because it is so unusual it is even harder to predict a timeline than it would be for a single visa with no dependents.

You may not like what I'm saying but its a fact. No one can predict that timeline for you, and you may not even be able to bring the parent with you, Immigration may not approve it. If that gives you stress, well, sorry but thats often the case in migration matters. You aren't special, you have no idea what stress I or anyone else has gone through.

Its a public forum, I'll comment if I want to. If you don't want comments, don't ask the question.

Too many may, may may be.

Thanks for your input. You mostly write very useful comments and we thank you for your time and effort.

With this one,  as you agree  that, you don't have very good information and for this unusual case, applicant has hired registered migration agent.

I kindly request you to not emphasize too much because this is bringing unnecessary negativity for applicant.

This is public forum,  you can write whatever but as you are responsible and our senior, we expect more positivity from you by staying neutral now (or silent) as you have already bravely accepted you don't know much about this.

Hopefully registered migration agent had better idea who applied this case.

Once again Thanks for your regular contribution in this forum.

@Lilly23  Thank you for your reply. So a couple days ago I did send them a feedback on their website saying how unfair it is to us we’ve been waiting for too long and i have received  the same reply “ Department is unable to give you definitive timeframe” AND they also have added “we thank you for your patience and would appreciate if you keep your contact to the department to a minimum, to allow processing of your own and others as quickly as possible.” Just reading this response really made me upset. Even though I explained to them everything nicely how the delay was effecting our relationship, they clearly don’t care. Now i’m thinking I HAVE to talk to my local MP.

I’ve reached out to the MP before but I didn’t go ahead with it because i wanted to wait until 21 month is passed the global timeframe, but now that it’s way beyond that, i want to contact the MP. Fingers crossed. I honestly don’t know why our application is taking too long.

With travelling aspect, i had studies but now i think it’s becoming absolutely compulsory to do something.

We can only suggest,  however decision is yours.

My suggestion is pay a visit to your partner before chasing them seriously.  As earlier one guy on this form got rejected his visa and one reason included in rejection statement was not visiting partner since application.

Please manage a short visit to your partner for a week or two somehow.

I guess agents are useless unless you need serious help. AHC islamabad doesn't respond because they says ask your agent to email.  Migration agent just keep telling stories to avoid extra bit of work. Because they've taken all the payments.

My application is still in progress,  don't know how should i deal with this migration agent.

I many time think to take over myself,  but i paid agent $3500. And she is useless.  In real i see people with no migration agent get visa faster on average but not all. (Just my observation)

Useless is wrong word. I will say not worth amount we pay to organize application. They did organized my documents and uploaded, but no help in preparing application, for example no help in writing statements, i had to search online "what is needed to include statement". They did provided me with a checklist to send them whatever documents i can.

As Lilly said, having a consultation on occasions would've been better option.

But i have chosen a path , its better for me to stick to it.

Why do you think applicants with an agent should be faster?   All applications go in a queue.  There is not a special, faster queue for applications with agents!

The job of an agent is to make sure your application is perfect, because if you have mistakes in your application, it causes delays.

Maybe in your country, government officials will give you special attention if you are constantly ringing up, asking them to hurry.   Australians are different - we do not like it when people are pushy and demanding.   An Australian official is more likely to think, "This person is annoying.  He thinks he is special and superior and expects me to jump when he calls. Well, I will teach him a lesson - I will put his application aside and make him wait even longer."  So you see, your agent is wise if she is not constantly contacting Immigration making trouble.

I guess you are being judgemental and reaching conclusions too fast. Hang on.

I said my personal opinion/ suggestion/ feel  is application with migration agent take relatively longer than you apply yourself.

And which queue are you talking about? There is no queue, application are dealt on case to case basis. That's why some people are delayed with visa application, and  most of people got visa in approximately 12-15 months recently.

From online forums,  nearly all of people applied in Islamabad got visa, from jan, feb, march 2018 applications. So one can conclude the agent is reason for delay.  But this is not fact and can't be. That was my personal observation.

I hope Australian embassy works acvording to legislation. Not as bias as you are saying.  And they provide reason for rejecting with legislation references. Not there on job to teach lessons or morals.

Migration Agents are professionals working in industry,  so hoping they are wise we hired them paying high fees. And migration agent says we shouldn't contact them unless global processing times passes.  Which sounds logical and convincing that's why we are not pushing them to write to AHC islamabad  (eventhough we feel in heart otherwise)until current 20 months benchmark passes and hoping for grant by then anyway.

Your DOL was just one month before me, therefore, I was following your posts here as well. And I realized that your case is delayed because your agent is not writing/pushing the CO. I remember, you once shared here that your agent is waiting to complete 22 months (or whatever max time) and then he will contact CO. I think your agent is just saving his/her reputation with the immigration, that if he will contact immigration frequently, then his reputation will effected negatively and his other cases will also be impacted. This looks a very selfish apporach to me.

    Good luck.
