I see there is no more old people here look like they got their visas. Now not look back at here. New people new experience

Once we will get some update,  we will share here. But seems like our application has gone in further checks which means further delay.

    No update, since interview

    Dol jan 2018 application

    Interview 1st November 2018

    No documents requested

    No generic email

    Asking for a dear friend

how long does it take if immigration sends documents to the delegation for decision finalising . A friend of mine has emailed about her Application status and received this as a reply .. So I thought I’d ask here to see if anyone received such email in the past

Her case is of second marriage no kids yet, provided sufficient proofs, DOL MAY 15th 2018 , generics and interviews taken , applies via agent

Seems like they will be taking decision in few days.

Unless otherwise delegate makes decision that further checks are required to make decision.  It sometimes happens in 2nd marriage / complicated cases.

More likely they'll get grant very very soon.

The thing is bro, I don't like taking photos much and it was almost 3 years back, when we didn't have plan to migrate to Australia or never thought that photos could be need in future. I've provided them many post wedding photos, for instance, my last 2 times visit to Pakistan, I've taken some photos and uploaded it.

We didn't have hotel booking as I was working there and rented a room for couple of months.

Three years back shouldn't be problem.

Just explain them you guys have lost them over time. Still air tickets and boarding passes may find in email.

If you can find 4-5 photos , that'll be enough.

    Assalam-o-Alikum to all,

I've got an email from them, asking additional documents. They've asked post wedding photos especially from U.A.E. Where we stayed of couple of months, but I don't have any photos because we don't take much photos. I've changed my phone as well and lost the data. What should I do now?

Second thing is they've asked photography identification of 888 declarant. Can I provide the photo id for them?

You've not taken much doesn't sound very good idea. You have no photos can also be issue and can delay your application.  Please don't go to that route. Only few photos will be enough.

Send them tickets,  boarding passes of seats together,  hotel booking and payment records,  invoices, if you met with other friends and family,  may be someone else took photos of you together. Find back up, or few photos  together sent to your family on what's app.

Changed phone.. find cloud backup,  Google drive backup, try getting old phone back. Your wife may have sent photos to her friends.

Photos don't have to be very beautiful,  just some random clicks.  I'm worried:(

  6. What is more expensive than $7160 is actually,  time they take to process your application.  You may contribute to Australian economy more than 50k per year, if they grant you visa on time.

And living away from your partner is even bigger loss. Be careful what you write online especially your Facebook may show you have been in Malaysia.

If you go with truth it's easier.

One guy on this forum @Jibran didn't disclose his previous marriage and divorce they found it and got complications with case. After 20 months visa got rejected , however reason for rejecting visa was he didn't visited his wife in Pakistan for 20 months.  And they didn't expected excuse for financial hardship.

We only know what jibran shared with us.

    hello

    hope you guys are fine

just want to ask some questions

I have applied my visa sc309 on 20 march 2019

and I have 4 months overstay in Malaysia and got an entry ban in Malaysia but all this information I didn't mentioned in my application.

does it effect my application?? did the Department find out my overstay and entry ban from Malaysia??

please help me what to do now

    thanks

My opinion . It is usually very very hard or impossible in most cases to get information from third country but in case of Malaysia it is hard but still possible for Australia to get information, they may /may not get information from Malaysia.

Also if you have stayed in Malaysia for more than 12 months, you will be required to provide police clearance.

I suggest you need to disclose if it has been asked in application form specifically about overstay and ban. It shouldn't affect your 309 relationship based application however if criminal or court case is involved or you confused and worried your sponsor should consult with migration agent/lawyer in Australia.

    Better disclose information in full.

I have no idea if to worry or not inregards to this

they haven’t offered grants yet but still completely ignoring an application is also kind of strange and stressful

    Not to worry!

It more sounds like they have all required documents but taking time to check authenticity of provided documents and relevant investigation  where required.

I got interview call in November,  and no email before or after. Interviewer even told me they will request more document but they didn't contacted, later when i wrote them someone else replied from high commission they'll  contact when they need more information.

In my partner visa my father is also included as a dependent family Visa form 47A as he is the last member of my family here and he is almost 80 years old Masha Allah

    My question is that

Is the processing time for me is still the same for partner visa 90% 14-20 Months or because of my father it will take even longer in processing time than that?

If some one knows and kindly answer me please

    Thanks

It should be same processing time. Can't think of any reason for delay.

May Allah keep your family United and Happy.

Just to update that new policy has reduced skilled PR visas but Family visas are not affected. The new policy of govt just announced 2 days back so don’t worry Family visas will continue as it was and no restrictions settling in Australia as they have done for student and skilled to move to regional areas.

    Its bit technical to understand.

Number of family visa applications increase every year. Target for 2017-2018 was around 50,000 ( or 60,000 i forgot exact), however by blocking partner visas last two months they only granted  39,799 partner visas far less than planned target of 50,000.

New target for parter visa has been set 39,799 which may looks same to many. And that's what they are promoting that their is no change.

If don't want to go in technicality,  then look at processing time of each months will be keep going up for not issuing enough visa.

Also new policy is worse but as Government announced it seems as this for year starting in july 2019-onwards.

So mostly people applied in 2018 will not be affected much or if any they will still be on ahead of line.

I agree with you to some extent but not as a whole. All the permanent visas are included in annual immigration intake while subclass 309 is a temporary visa. Australian Federal Elections are most probably going to happen in Mid-May but i don’t think this will effect temporary visas including 309. The only concern from the department of home affairs is strict security concerns. All the best✌️

309/100 is combined applications. As medical is for 100 PR i guess ( long time , i may have forgotten)

They look at it as visa that'll lead to PR as PR.

That's my understanding,  looking at last two months of financial year ending 2018. People following immigration trend from march 2018 may understand, what i mean.

  12. You may research about processing times gone up for months ending may and june 2018 .

And search about visa issued in may/june and compare it with visa issue in July August 2018.

It seems they have tightened everything this time from beginning of new year.

Keep hopes for processing of your visa anytime after 10-12 months if your case is straightforward but not too high as there are possibilities of delay for complications like previous relationship/contradictions or just simply they choose your application for extra checks which they more likely will be doing with most of applications to delay grants.

I heared in the month of April (next month) many visas will be granted, specially from last year March, April, May, June... even they won’t call all for interview if they get strong and enough evidence...

I mean very Sorry but i think its joke( my personal opinion). Or may be i m depressed or whatever.

The last federal election was held on 2 July 2016. The 45th Parliament opened on 30 August 2016 and its term would expire on 29 August 2019. Writs for election can be issued up to ten days after a dissolution or expiry of the House.(wikipedia ).

last year politician and (minister ordered(my opinion)) immigration  to stop issuing visa (most family visa) in may june 2018,  to show less number of visa granted in news to Australians to earn votes by showing we are tougher immigration. However this stunt by minister "Peter Dutton" only affected family visa and less affected skill migrants. Praised by news that minister dropped number of visa from planned 190k to 160+k. Not telling common Australians that we raised average processing from 9-12 months to 21- 27 months by blocking visa however most of visas were granted in july August September.

Peter Dutton even tried to PM of Australia,  however lost due to simple miscalculation of votes within party.

(noting it was also in news for early elections in may june 2019, however election has not been called by new PM Scott Morrison yet)

If election pass financial year ending 30 june 2019 which is very expected. Then  More likely Peter dutton (minister of home affairs ) will pass his idea to current immigration minister will only allow grant 10-15% family visas and will block most of family visa until july. To show less number of visa granted they'll cut back further 20-30k visas. Most will be family visas and we people don't have other options. Skill migrants/students/tourists have whole world open to them and Australia needs them. Family visa is different story.

Immigration is  under Department of Home affairs so Petter Dutton have power over immigration even though minister of immigration is different.

I pray Australia gets better leadership,  which unites Nation and do real work for Australia instead of political stunts and dividing Nation.

Hopefully u will get directly your PR

I hope so. I will be more happy if they grant me visit visa sooner than later PR.

Technically i should be granted PR 100 as we have more than 5 years relationship at time of lodgement, and now 6 years with evidences.

Thats another reason i can think, they may further delay my application and perform extra checks to make sure relationship is fine.

I personally think as long as you are with your partner in Australia and also have working rights then its doesn't matter how long they take to grant PR100 .

Perfect and thanx but as u said it’s better to submit a personal statement by both applicant and sponsor, once we wrote a letter to tell about our relationship histories and gave it to the agent, I don’t know if u meant that...and what to write in statement if we write a new statement

I suggest you to stay relax. Personal statement is same as relationship history.

I have passed through this stage. But after 14 months waiting now im more relaxed.
