HI all,
Have been stalking this forum since we lodged our PR application and just wanted to share our news.
We were granted our PR on Friday afternoon, directly with no further information requested.
I have been unable to update the spread sheet though with the information.
Our timeline was:
Occupation: Nurse Manager
Occupation in STSOL (Short Term)
Country: UK
Stream: TRT
Number of applicants: 6
Visa and Nomination applied 16 January 2018
Visa and Nomination granted 7th September 2018
Don't give up hope, your day will come! Not sure what I will do with all of my new found time, not checking Immiaccount or this forum!
Best Wishes
J

My MA told me, one of his client applied on 2nd April and got his nomination and visa today on same day even without asking any further documents. He applied through TRT and his occupation is restaurant manager and he's from India.
On the other end one of his client from the same industry working as a chef in an Indian restaurant. He applied in May 2017 still didn't get any update.
They both are from same country and even almost same fields too. And both restaurants are making almost same profits.
What the immigration Australia is doing?????
Sure?? April in 2018??? Brilliant

There is no "speeding things up".Nothing changed.
They finish processing June 2017, many applied before changes so it created massive backlog, so we see quick movement now.
Agreed!!!!!

My nomination was approved this morning (26/07/2018).
Applied: 09/11/2017
The first set of additional docs requested: 22/02/2018, Submitted: 20/03/2018
Now they requested below docs again for the PR application (26/07/2018).
- Medicals for all three applicants. I couldn't submit earlier as my 457 was renewal happened early last year and they had to regenerate the HAP Ids for this.
- India PCC on the maiden name for my wife. They requested this last time as well. India only gives PCC on the current name. I contacted the India VFS office in Sydney and attached email evidence from them specifying that they don't give PCC with the maiden name. Not sure why they asked for this again. Do any of you know what to do for this? Is there any way I can get India PCC on the maiden name or a proof that Indian consulate doesn't give one?
Thanks, everyone!
Congratulations bri. Whats ur occupation??? Wish you luck!!!

Hi guys.
It seems applicants for trt 186 on November 2017 are being assessed. Unfortunately one of my friends got refused yesterday for the reason the company has minus profit. He is a cook I guess. Hope everyone get the visa.

Its a good news but some have been waiting for 20 mths, some are granted within 8 mths. This is totally ridiculous.
