Ive finally received a golden mail today.

My time line is below and please update my one in the excel sheet.

Occupation - Chef / SYD / 2pp

24/02/2018 - visa/nomi lodged

17/12/2018 - Nomi approved (no further documents  requested)

04/01/2019 - Fucntional English Evidence of my wife requested ( I submitted it on the same day)

4/02/2019 - The CO said it doesn't meet the criteria so I can request the invoice or submit English test result. (I requested the invoice on the same day)

5/03/2019 - both visa granted. 

Its been a long waiting but it is worth to wait. So happy guys.

Now the co asked functional english of the secondary applicant who is my wife but I am willing to pay the installment of English charge. And I requested the invoice last Mon, 4th Feb via immi account  and E-mail. However no news at all. So really wonder how long normally it takes to get the invoice after request? Now the co asked functional english of the secondary applicant who is my wife but I am willing to pay the installment of English charge.

And I requested the invoice last Mon, 4th Feb via immi account  and E-mail.

However no news at all.

So really wonder how long normally it takes to get the invoice after request?

Please share your experience with me.

@Jay kim This is typical - the suggested time frame is that the CO would review your case is within 28 days from requested documents being submitted (your english certificate).

However, with it being in "Further Assessment" - it seems this could take longer than that - you only need to see a few threads up of someone waiting 60+ days, and others much longer. 

- There does seem to be a difference between requested documents on a case that's in "Initial Assessment" (I've seen typical turnaround times of 35 days) vs an application in "Further Assessment" (these have no consistency to their timelines). 

I don't believe making contact with your CO would make any difference - however, this is your choice (I suspect you'd get back the typical "please wait" response).

Soon as submtting the document on immi account , my visa status directly changed initial assessment  to further assessment.

After that, no news.....

So stressed but no choice. Have to wait..

Its so so glad to see a lot of pp get their pr granted.

I would like to share my situation with you guys.

I applied nomi and visa on 24th Feb 2018. Chef. Nsw. LR. 2pp

And nomination approved  on 17th Dec 2018 also requested for English Certificate for sencondary applicant which is my wife on 4th Jan 2019 and straight sudmitted it on 5th Jan 2019.

Visa status is further assessment. 

Its been 29 days.

Is it normal or I have to contact CO?

As Ive seen many pp get visa granted right soon after submitting requested documents.

Is there anyone who has similar experience with me.

My MA got a phone call from immigration and CO requested an additional document about my wifes english.

It was unknown number so stay with it. If you get unknown phone call, you or your MA should answer.

I think it is a good sign for me to be asked for English evidence.

I am really excited...... hope I get a golden mail soon

My nomination was approved on 17th Dec 2018 but haven't heard anything also my immi status is still "Received"

I think its better to change your name after pr as the processibng time has been reduced

Bro. Dont believe MA too much I mean do not over rely on Ma.

Tell your MA to provide the refusal letter and have a look at it all throughout then find out what the exact reason is.

Because Ive never heard of the refusal reason you had.

The size , turn over , reputation of the company does really matter. 

My one approved within 9 mths despite of our huge negative numbers in our financial report.

Thanks Bella but  we are RSL Club that has 50 poki machines. And we spent 2.2m on renovation in 2016 ans it causes our financial report has negative numbers but my reliable MA wrote a letter explaining our negative mumber. I do belive it worked. I am so happy with my MA.

What was wrong with your benchmark? If your boss didn't pay in on time, it doesn't look like winning for appealing.

But the concern is your occupation is removed from occupation lists.

I know a reliable agency, I can introduce him if you need

you can tell the reason of rejection and get the true feed back and solution.

He is my MA and well known in the face group also always quick feed back and response.

If you let us know more info like occupation and region will be good. Coz it depends on those things to be granted

What is the difference betweem Agreement Pathway and Direct Entry?

Time line is much shorter.

One of a few things could have happened here;

- There is a message waiting for you (go to the "Messages" and check for any).
- The CO updated the application by providing some information (documents of sorts / bridging visas).
- A medical / similar was complete and an external party (BUPA) updated the application with the same (this should appear in the documentation section as well).
- A status change (which you already noted is not the case).
- Your MA updated the application with additional / updated documents (possibly a new PCC etc.)

I'm of the opinion that whenever a case is "updated", you should be able to see (by looking within the application itself) what the change was (90% of the time).
