  1. Did anything change mate? Mine still received, though been told that everything is OK and it's just processing too long.. Almost 23 months without decision
  2. They have updated timing, now it's 22 months for 90% and 19 months for 75%... Wonder how long will they keep moving dates.
  3. Hopefully this will get resolved successfully for us soon!
  4. 21st month since application, and approximately 18 months since 100% test and no approval yet. "Loved" last conversation with immi, "You are still within timeframe...".
  5. There were no security checks and no concerns. Interview was in Brisbane, basically simple, checked documents and that's it. Complaints? Where? As far as I understand there is no legal procedure to influence processing time. Immigration says that the processing times are basically indicative and the only thing we can do is wait. Some people go through mp's and trying to write to minister etc., I will wait a bit more.
  6. We are waiting for around 17 months since test and soon 20 months since application and the status is still received. It's hard to say how much time will it take, there are few getting approval next day after the test and then there are people like us. So far the Brisbane team was the worst in terms of processing applications.
  7. Same thing March 2017. I've noticed that there are a lot of people stuck from march 2017 +/- 1 month. I do remember that there was a report by ombudsman that these cases are waiting and only 10 or 15 officers have approval to work on them. It was like around 25K cases on those 10-15 officers. But not sure exactly.
  8. Almost 18 months waiting time over 14 months since successful citizenship test. No requests, nothing. Called them when the processing time was 12 months - nothing, even didn't ask the for details. When processing time was 15 months they checked application details and I was told: "it is only over 15 months call us when it will be over processing time by at least a month", now it is almost 18 months, they didn't even ask for details, said can't comment and that I can do nothing. A bit frustrated with the attitude. Have two questions, how do you ask for Freedom of Information in regards of citizenship application and what does it provide in regards of the citizenship application? Which ombudsman should I apply for investigation and how much time does it take? Thank you! PS: Oziee, any movements on your application?
  9. Yes, passed the test with 100% in the beginning of July 2017. I am from Brisbane, Qld and I applied online. What I noticed that Brisbane team is slow ? Sine the country is not Low risk countries I guess it’s HR country. Now it’s 17 months ? Wonder when it’s going to end with 24 months...
  10. My situation is similar to Oziee, just a bit longer. In 10 days it will be 17 months since application. No issues with eligibility. I’ve called department and they told that 16 months wait time is now standard and there are lot of similar applications, when it will be over 16 months I should call. Will call them when it will be 18 months.
  11. Called department today and basically was told that there are a lot of applications with 16 months wait time and those who were processed with 8 months were extremely lucky. Since it’s been only couple of days of my application been over 16 months I am still within acceptable timeframe and if my application is not processed within couple of months time I should call them again.
