  1. sorry but i'm not attacking your post or whatever, what i want to say is the RSMS visa is taking almost 2 years of processing time (coincidence ??) because in that way immigration at least they have a guaranty to keep you there. RSMS is on top on visa processing priorities but now it takes longer than a 457 visa and most of the visas, If you read the forum around two years back you might see people that got the visa and never worked for the company because of closing or any other matter and they didn't have any problem later. The processing time for citizenship used to be 6 months, now is 16 months casualty ? obviously not, they wanted to change the law to a 4 years as PR to them apply, the petition got refused for the parliament but they indirectly are doing it slowing processing times. If you think all of this is coincidence so good luck!
  2. The point of view from everyone might be different but the law is the law, and the ACT says The Minister is Satisfied That: the person commenced the employment referred to in the relevantemployer nomination (whether or not within the period prescribed by the regulations); and (ii) the employment terminated within the period (the required employment period ) of 2 years starting on the day the person commenced that employment; What else do you want ? It's the law, that's over all of us including migration agents. Each case is different but to all of them the same law is applied. Cheers,
  3. You Should take care with your words, because you're talking like if you're 100% sure of that. To everyone in this forum. The visa 187 once is granted doesn't say that you have to stay 2 years with your employer from the moment is granted, I've get my visa yesterday and i have no conditions or restrictions wrote on it!

  5. Mate, I’m cook, applied August 2016. No update or contact from immi.
  6. Mate, How did you apply without skill assessment ? Also may you write exactly the reason of refusal because you’re writing a question why your employer can’t hire local that’s not a reason it’s a question.
  7. How big was the restaurant ? Is he going to appeal ?
  8. Mate, That's a report about last year. it doesn't say how many slots available for visas just says how many visa where processed and approved in 2016-2017.
  9. Someone here have been ever refused after wait more than 2 years ?? The common factor i see is that refusals usually don’t wait for more than a year.
  10. Are most of you guys working with the business sponsored already ?
  11. Ok, so we’re talking that the real waiting time is at least 23 months. ( for cooks)
  12. How many people is this forum have been waiting for more than 20 months ? Because the Immi website says 19months but looks like is 22 months processing time at least.
