  1. Thanks for the response @Raul Senise. I've been working for the company which sponsors me for the last 4 years, including the period I was outside Australia. (working remote) That's good news, I intend on returning to Australia before my 457 expires.
  2. Hey! Sorry to bump an old post, but figured it was best rather than start a new one. I'm currently in Australia on a 457 visa which is valid until the 19th February 2018. I've submitted the application for my 186/ENS visa & have received my "Notification of grant of a Bridging visa" I have been in the UK from June 1st till October 1st 2017 & plan on travelling back to the UK for two weeks over the Christmas period. I'd like to confirm that since my 457 visa is still in effect, I am able to travel without the need of applying for a BVB? I also plan on travelling to India at the end of February for a wedding. Assuming this is reasonable reason for applying for a BVB which I will need to do so. Any advice much appreciated.
  3. Might add that I'm not using an agent when submitting this application
  4. Thanks @MaggieMay24 for the response. By the looks of things all the documents are recommended. So I'm struggling to identify which documents are used to make a decision besides police and health checks.
  5. I'd also like to know whether it's necessary to attach all documents requested for the visa application, or whether I should just wait for immigrations to request specific documents?
  6. Are you also able to advise me whether I need to get a medical/health examination & or police clearance? https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa/Heal/meeting-the-health-requirement/arranging-a-health-examination#
  7. Hey. I've been working in Australia since March 2013 on a 417 which I migrated to a 457 in January 2014. I'm in the process of applying for a 186. The nomination was lodged on the 30th November 2016 & approved on 28 June 2017. I currently have two issues with regards to completing the application: • There is a question during application: “Has any applicant overstayed a visa in any country (including Australia)?” Unfortunately the answer to the first is YES. I overstayed my South African tourist visa by 1-5 days (can confirm) in 2010 - this was due to having to book a later flight with friend. • The visa is asking for a skills assessment - “Does the application have a suitable skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority, which is ont for a Subclass 485 (Temporary Graduate) visa?” I’d like to know whether it’s necessary to undertake a skills assessment? Since I have worked for the current employer for 4+ Any help & or further advice will be greatly appreciated. Cheers. MT
