  1. Oh I did not know that , I am very new to this forum. I'll contact him right away. and thanks for letting me know.
  2. Thanks Russel but the problem is that there is no one managing my application. My company has applied for my visa but doesn't not seem to want to spend on immigration lawyers and I am stuck not knowing what to do in my situation. My company doesn't know what to do either. I want to take it upon myself and find someone I can consult who can give me accurate advise. I dont mind paying for the right advise. Its been so hard trying to find the right person. If there is anybody out there that you can recommend, it'll be great.
  3. Thanks you very much for the info
  4. I currently hold a 457 visa and I am in a bit of a situation involving company change. I would like a consultation from someone qualified and reliable to take me through my options at this stage. Could someone please point me to a reliable agent ? Thanks you very much.
  5. Here is my situation: - I have been working for company A on a 457 Visa for more than 2 yrs now. I have also renewed my 457 recently with Company A (after the recent changes in April) and I got it on 13/05/17 with validity up to May 2019 My company A maybe planning to shut down in the month of October 2017. The director of the company is opening another company B to carry on with the same operations. New company B has applied for its business sponsorship on 19/06/17 New company B has simultaneously applied for my (wife and son included) 457-nomination(transfer) application on 20/06/17 New company B has also launched my (wife and son included) 186 Direct Entry Nomination on 06/06/17 I have launched my (wife and son included) 186 applications on 14/07/17 (We have been granted my bridging visa A which is not in effect due to my 457 being in effect) My Questions :- 1. Once company A closes, will I able to continue working for company B even before company B's sponsorship & nomination is approved? 2. Does company A have to inform the Govt about shutting down and how long does it have before it can do that? 3. Do I have to inform the Govt after Company A shuts down? 4. What happens next? will the govt contact me? 5. I already have a new 457 sponsorship application and a 186 DE Nomination with company B in the works, will I be allowed to stay in the country and work for Company B? 6. My Wife is on a secondary 457 with company A and is working for a firm in Sydney, can she continue working on the 457 even after company A shuts down as she is not bound by condition 8107? 7. If I decide to leave the country will it be a violation of bridging visa A from my 186 Direct Entry application even though it’s not in effect at the moment? Is this risky? 8. Will I be able work for Company B as it seems be a related entity to company A before the 457 nomination is approved? If so , how can or should I prove it ? I have also been trying to contact immigration agents who charge a lot of money (up to 200 AUD for 30 mins )and are always providing generic advise and nothing specific to my situation , I am really really nervous as I do not know what to do after October and dont want to end up doing anything wrong unintentionally . Can some one please advise ? any advise is greatly appreciated!.... I just need to know what to do.
