Just checked the parliament website the bill has been Referred to Committee (22/06/2017): Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee; Report due 04/09/2017

Anyone heard rumour says the new law might be implemented from 1 Jan next year instead of 20 Apr as they are still negotiating the details...?
